Subject: OT: PC Adaptor for a Joystick
Greatings to the -L,
Bought a fancy new Centrino based laptop for my son (to replace his old
desktop machine) and have realised that it doesn't have a game port for the
stick that came with his favourite game (does have 4 USB 2.0, an IEEE 1394
and a PCMCIA I/II slot).
Spoke to a local PC store about an adaptor and they told me 'They don't make
them, have to buy a new stick, here's a USB 1.0 one for £59.99 (about
$100)'. The game and stick only cost £35.00 when new!!
Can anybody help me locate something?
regards,
Robert W.Mills
