After I finish a tutorial, I'd like to use it to
read and write to a SOIF type file.

But then, once I learn that, I'd like to see if I
convert this SOIF file to Turbo/Image.  (The trick is,
SOIF has variable length fields/records.)  Maybe I
should toss in a Blob?
