now can anyone explain why my post, whose given Subject: was "terminal reset?" is retitled "[HP3000-L] terminal reset?"

(I'm using Outlook2007, which throws several wrenches into the works, but I don't see any mention of [] in my addressbook entry.  My initial post was addressed to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> (pardon the caps, and no, the underscoring & highlighting you may see there is done by your client and mine))  Maybe I'm using an old portal?

can't remember how to fix this:

ran a blockmode screen (NMMGR) which aborted due to no FORMLIST equation.

now my terminal (Reflection) doesn't properly handle my CR, I only see LF, so prompts are like this:
HOBBES:
      HOBBES:
             HOBBES:
                    etc.


IIRC the fix is some escape sequence that's actually an mpe command, but that's as far as the brain will dig today.  anybody?
