Aren't their educator / consultants who do this sort of thing? I am
thinking of someone who lives, eats and breathes some technology like
AllBase, and can not only recommend solutions but teach their clients to
use them? Rarely does anyone use 100% of an information technology, and
there are few technologies that I care to know quite that well (with the
possible exception of COBOL), but checking one's work with someone who
"knows it all" can be enlightening. And when that person is done, you
should have the knowledge base you need to do what you wanted or need to
do, at least for now. But absolute gurus are hard to maintain in house.
I feel that that is where I am with IMAGE; I can scarcely follow some of
the threads that get into the less than everyday issues. Some I can't
follow at all. I am still trying to get sent to class, just to get the
foundational base that I think we need. Then maybe I'll reread some of
those threads.
