HPINSTAL comes with an SLTCOPY utility (also see Update/Patch manual for some
Appendix with details... Or was it the MPE/iX System Software Maintenance Mnl?)

But there should also be several contributed utils in CSL, at Allegro's web
site,
on Jazz (Wolfgang Kinscher's distribution, if I recall correctly) and, of
course,
my TapeCOPY program that I created in the HP 3000 Web Starter Kit timeframe (it
comes with source code ;-)
