I believe there is a 4-5 socket limit in Winsock, but I may be wrong. It
may depend on the version of Winsock you are running. Try it from your
BSDI system, and see if the same thing happens. If MPE doesn't have a
limit, this may be the case, otherwise, it may be receiving faulty CLOSE
signals somehow, as that is the only way to abnormally terminate a
connection.
