I did ask this question the other week. I also checked the archives going back
to last September. I found a couple of threads on this subject. I think I used
"encryption" and "PGP" in my searches. Between replies to my own query and what
I found in the archives, there does not seem to be a commercial encryption
product currently on the HP3000.
Vesoft's Security/3000 has the ENCRYPT and DECRYPT commands, but that is for
HP3000 to HP3000 use.
I heard from a couple of people, including Lars Appel whose URL on this topic I
just posted to the HP3000-L, but his work is with a non-commercial version.
I was referred by several people to Monterey Software Group and I understand
that they are working on this issue. We will have to wait for them to make some
announcement when they are ready.
