Ok,
Here's one for Xwindows nerds in the audience:

I (sometimes) use Xwindows at work (Reflection X) using XDMCP to a server here.

I'm running Linux at home and I'd like to be able to use that as the client
when I dial up to work. Here's the hard part: I'm dialing up from a windows'95
machine which is running WinGate proxy server. I can surf from the Linux box
after setting Netscape's connection info to the proxy address. Is there
anything equivalent for the Xserver?

I've tried :

   Xserver -query hostname

But I don't think it can find "hostname" since I'm running through a proxy. I
can't ping it since it don't have socksified ping.

I know, I should be using my Linux box as the gateway....or I should just get a
copy of Reflection X for my PC. I know...I'm just having fun....Any clues?

Rich
