Nope, not just Canadian... I watched it as a kid in Virginia. It was one of my
favorite shows, along with Supercar (anybody else remember that one?). My
friend across the street had a Fireball XL-5 plastic model and I spent a lot of
time at his house playing with it.

A bit of trivia: In one episode of the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the
Moon" they used part of the Fireball XL-5 theme song. I was really disappointed
that they didn't include a little footage from the show, too.

Oh -- I scored 20 on the test, so I'm "older than dirt" (47) too!

Me too.... Maybe a Canadian thing? Loved Fireball XL-5, can still remember
running home from school to watch it. and yes it got me hooked on the exact
same science fiction writers also.
Saw Fireball XL-5 on one of the kids TV channels lately boy did it look
corny.

Gary
