Excuse me, but I exclusively use <SHIFT><DELETE>, <CTRL><INSERT>, and
<SHIFT><INSERT> for cut and paste in Windows.  It is supported in all cases
and by all applications (except QCTerm) that I use and provides an
out-of-band keyboard based cut/paste mechanism that does not interfere with
terminal applications which need to pass <CTRL> sequences to the host.
