At work we have both the 5.0/5.5 & 6.0 manuals-on-CD on a dedicated
cd-server

5.0/5.5 is the older "laserrom" format
6.0 is the newer "dynatext" format

I almost NEVER use the dynatext version for one simple reason: all the
manuals I need are ONLY on the 5.0/5.5 CD [programming, system config, etc.]

The only "plus" I see to dynatext over laserrom is that you can have more
than one manual open "at a time" -- the laserrom version closes the current
manual and opens the new one when you select it...

I almost never print from either of them, but when I do, I like the
laserrom's ability to print the particular sections I'm interested in (and
in nearly the same format as the printed manuals supplied by HP) while
skipping any intervening sections I'm not interested in.

The other thing I like about the laserrom interface is the ability to make a
subset of manuals my "most frequently referenced" manuals, thus avoiding
looking up in one or more sections.
