Well, I have sortof solved my problem ... The function 'quote' was
available on 5.5 pp7, but seems to have been withdrawn in 6.5.

Hi all,

 My memory is failing me.

We moved to 6.5 recently, and I am *positive*  that I used a new CI function
called 'quote' or something similar , but I cant remember the exact name,
or how I originally found out about this function (most probably on this list).
I have searched the MPE help and 6.0 and 6.5 communicators but
I cant find any reference to it.
I think the function doubled-up any quotes in a string.

Can anyone help ?
