Your clock is wrong. We are currently in Daylight Saving Time,
which for Pacific Time is 7 hours western hemisphere.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Cobol WHEN-COMPILED function vs System Date/Time Issue
Cobol program runs and uses the WHEN-COMPILED function
***********************************************************
* PLAYGAME.NMPRG 05/20/2007
10:19:50 *
* Compiled: 05/20/2007 08:42:02
***********************************************************
*
Top banner line shows current system run date/time. This is ok.
However, the compiled date/time on the second line is off by one
hour.........
The program was compiled at 07:42 not 08:42.....
:showclock
SYSTEM TIME: SUN, MAY 20, 2007, 10:30:28 AM
CURRENT TIME CORRECTION: 0 SECONDS
TIME ZONE: 8 HOURS 0 MINUTES WESTERN HEMISPHERE
:showvar tz
TZ = PST8PDT
Anyone know why the compiled time is wrong?
I am sure it is a system problem, not an application problem.
TIA,
Brian Donaldson.
