that looks like the best answer.  several mention using glance and that's a
good suggestion too...considering i failed to mention <whatever> would need
to run in a job <blush>.  i'll still have to write something to parse out
the results from sysinfo <sigh> but it's better than parsing the results of
sysdiag :-)            thanks!           - d
