I have a 918LX that has just had LDEV1 removed and
replaced. LDEV2 is a private volume that contains all of our
data. It is still in place. I wish to recover our system volume
set onto the new LDEV1 only from our last full backup. How
do I make sure that I don'toverwrite or destroy access to the
data on LDEV2. This is very important because the disk
failure occurred in consequence of a routine maintenance call
on a jammed tape. Consequently our most recent data
backup is from last Thursday morning.

I haven't had to do anything like this in a long, long time so
any pointers or step by step instructions based on recent
experience would be gratefully appreciated. My most recent
CSLT is less than 10 days old and I will be using that for
recovery. The Current OS is MPE/iXC 7.0.

Regards,
Jim
