We are running Shadow DR to replicate 31 data bases of various sizes and activity. We have used it about 12 years since it was Silhouette which was put out by Carolian. It is an excellent product and the newer version yet to be released replicates flat files and KSAM files. This is an option we are very interested in since some of our systems use flat files and KSAM files in addition to data bases.

Shadow on many occasions as recent as three weeks ago has saved us from re-entering several days of data when we had a disc crash on our primary system. Personally I highly recommend it but the only thing it does that some may find unfavorable is that it keeps itself in the B queue regardless of the queue it is placed in. We have not experienced any problems with it logging into the B queue.
