Even on this list, as well as in too many other channels, we are hearing the
"unofficial" count being given, instead of the official count, which shows
coincidentally a larger gap (it's a vast left-wing conspiracy!), and we are
left confused about the facts.

            SET RANT-ON TO TRUE
This seems to be part of the same problem. Our media no longer serve our
better needs, no longer care for truth or accuracy, or responsibility,
particularly. Perhaps the web can remove some the "immediacy" out of
journalism for slower sorts like myself, who can wait days to read the
facts, and we will find a place for investigative journalism again.

pundits called the election in Florida before the polls even closed in
Florida!  The Florida Panhandle is in the Central Time zone.  How many of
those folks sat home because the outcome was known?  Certainly, they could
sue to reopen the election because of the irresponsibility of the media.
