andall, I don't think that it is still taught. here was (is?)
the following:

1. A manual titled "Getting Started With Transact". Part no.
32247-60003
2. S self paced course on the 3000. part no. 22842-1001, I have
the
tape (1/2") if it is still good (dated 4/83).

I have both and might be able to lend them to you under the
proper
conditions.

BTW, a good CoBOL programmer should have no problem learning
Transact
straight out of the manual. There are good examples is the
manual.
