Cool! I'll be looking forward to the Linux version, but the point about "open source" is that *you* don't have to do "all the legwork" in porting to some other platform -- while the HP3000 probably isn't a primary candidate for porting, "you never know" [hint: the HP doesn't have direct access to graphically-oriented displays -- you DO realize you posted this to a mini/mainframe group, right?]
