The most detailed introduction to the Posix implementation found in the
Communicator articles were in the 5.0PULL (X.50.20) Communicator, which
doesn't seem to be online at the web site above. Only the 5.0 Express
Release 2 and later (including 5.5 and it's Express Release) Communicators
are there. But the 5.0PULL (X.50.20) and 5.0PUSH (C.50.00) Communicators
have a good intro and overview of the features as they existed at the time.
[Note: Just ignore the completely ridiculous version numbers and release
names HP gave those two releases. They and their corresponding Communicator
articles have been very useful.]

A couple of other helpful HP documents I have for the Posix-enhanced
environment on MPE include:
   MPE/iX Shell and Utilities User's Guide (part# 36431-90002)
MPE/iX Shell and Utilities Reference Manual (part# 36431-60001)

And last (perhaps even least ;)...
MPE/iX Reference Supplement (part# 32650-90353) [to quote from page 1-1:
"This manual describes the changes and additions to commands, utilities,
and intrinsics introduced with the 4.5 release of the MPE/iX operating
system." It's less about the Posix shell and more about the changes to
the MPE environment needed to implement them together.]
