Actually, thats the area that's had the most activity over the past few years!

Additions done and/or in the works:

   Jumbo datasets (support for datasets > 4 GB)   (released)

   B-Trees (ability to do partial-key and range/comparison DBFINDs
            on details and masters)               (in beta)

   Dynamic Master dataset expansion (MDX)         (being worked on)

   Performance improvements                       (continuous)

and that doesn't count any of the SQL stuff.
