SNA on 7.0 for A/N-class e3000's has indeed changed.
However, the change is basically confined to the SNA link, which is the new
hardware interface to SNA.
In the versions of SNA that most were used to, the actual communications
interface was effected via a PSI (Programmable Serial Interface) Card -
which is no longer supported on the new A/N-class HPe3000.
Instead, the actual physical interface is accomplished via a MUX panel (or
ACC) attached to a PCI card.
The configuration of the SNA link is done as it was for the PSI, using NMMGR.
When configuring an IBMNODE use the new link type of SDLCMUX.
Then, go to the LINKDATA screen where you specify the hardware path of the
mux panel (ACC) and other information about the link itself.
You will also need some patches - beyond express 1 - to make it work,
specifically, SNAGDA0A and ACCGD85A (or later).
That should get you going - assuming you ordered the right hardware.
