The reason that it did not work for adager, but did work for hicomp is a
DNS issue. I did the following short research:

$ nslookup
Default Name Server: ns1.co.frederick.md.us
Address: 192.23.1.251
> set type=a (look for address[host] records only)
> hicomp.com
Name: hicomp.com
Address: 206.113.131.118
> adager.com
*** No address (A) records available for adager.com
> www.adager.com
Name: www.adager.com
Address: 199.245.241.35
> exit

So MS IE 3.02 looks like it does not prepend the "www" in front.
