I'd use :-

"Once set up, you can view ... "

but what do Brits know about the English language anymore !

Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: Language/Grammar/Usage Question

Which is more correct? (We're arguing about how to write some
documentation.)

"Once this has been set up, you can view ..."

-or-

"Once this has been setup, you can view ..."

I argued that you could rewrite the sentence as, "Once you have set this
up ..." and it would still make sense; whereas, "Once you have setup this
..." is bad grammar. And they *still* want to write "setup" !!!

Note: this does *not* involve running any kind of "Setup" program.

TIA,
Patrick
