Based on that, looking at the plain text of what Wirt
said, I don't smell any particular odor in his post.
I think one has to have some prior knowledge of anything
Wirt has ever said previously to infer subtile nuances.

Example:

One has to "know" the reference to "Daniel" get any meaning.

So, reusing a private reply to someone else from 15 minutes ago:

"I was well aware of that.  However does not my statement 
hold true based on textual evidence of the current thread?"
