I'm not sure that there are any "hot" data processing fields any more. It's 
my impression that all of the data has been processed, maybe two or three times 
by now.

If I were going to retrain for anything, it would be for either becoming a 
rock star, a brain surgeon or an NFL quarterback. They all seem to do all right.

However it's my understanding that a US Representative's seat for the San 
Diego congressional district has also just opened up. That's a district with a 
great number of military contractors and they seem to pay well for a little 
influence peddling. Perhaps there's an opportunity there.
