I have a question? Can the HP3000 NS accept RIP updates from the network? If
so, how do you configure it?

Every once in a while I get a entry in the NAMEADDR.ROUTING gateway
table(NETTOOL) that causes a token ring node to die a slow miserable death
logging off all sessions eventually from the ring. I have asked my network
support group(from my parent company) and told me they supply the RIP update
on the network that corrects this problem by updating this table from the
network. I can't find any mention of RIP in my documentation(HP must have a
different name for it). Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Right
now I fix the problem by issuing a console command 'NETCONTROL
UPDATE=ALL;NET=yournet' thus purging the offending table entry.
