An "Active Open" is one which you initiate (e.g., "clients").
A "Passive Open" is one established when someone else requests a connection
to a call socket (e.g., "servers").
As for "currently established connections" this is known to be unreliable
from back in the days of the 5.0 "hung sockets" bugs, apparently it hasn't
yet been fixed. There cannot be 2090 "established connections" if the
max is 512. SOCKINFO.NET.SYS is more reliable for open connections, and
for showing your servers (the 'c' option for 'call sockets').
