on a-/n-class boxes with a fibre channel *adapter* and
the correct os-level (7.5 w/ patches, like you
mentioned), you do *not* need the scsi-to-fibre
routers. it makes sense if you think about
it....there's no scsi (as in scsi adapter/card) so no
need to convert the signal.
otoh, if you are considering using multiple fibre
cards you will need a brocade (or equivilent) switch
to (essentially) consolidate the multiple signals into
one for the disk array (assuming that your disk array
only has one path (like a va7100 does)).
