Alternatively, you can change your subscription mode on the archive
page referenced in the "tagline" at the bottom of every message and
go to the "Join or leave the list (or change settings)" to change your
subscription to "index" modes and you will get a summary of posts each
day. Or set yourself to "Nomail" which is like unsubscribing except
raven will keep your current subscription settings current, then change
back to regular mode when you return.
Most OOO messages now get directed to the posters, not the list, but
that isn't always :-)
