That is not an official HP site with sanctioned information... i.e. some
of it may be incorrect.  HP has told us that they would not accept
maintenance contracts for the 256X printers after October 1999.  We have
2563C printers in the bunch. They are already off contract.  So it may
indeed be possible that HP will not make ribbons after 2001.

I sure wish they'd put up their own officially sanctioned site with EOS
dates!
