What we need is closer photos from different angles. Shadows can change
what we think we are seeing from what it really is. We have cameras today
that watch us from space. Send some of those cameras to Mars and see if we
can really see what's there.
Maybe it was little green men on Mars that disabled our robot? ;-)

Personally I believe the earth was/is the only planet ever inhabited in this
solar system. But I also believe there are other solar systems similar to
ours populated similar to ours. I don't believe we are all there is in this
vast universe.
We know it will cost (T)rillions to continue space exploration and the
possibility of migrating to other planets just inside our solar system.
While space exploration has brought us many new technologies I think some of
this money could be spent closer to home. (the grass always seems green on
the other side of the fence) or (we're to close to the forest to appreciate
the trees)

And then we landed there and got a closer look. We have a closer look at
Mars and you can see a 5 sided pyramid, a mound with a curve at the top and
bottom with straight sides, and several other anomalies in the same area.
There are pyramids in China that I believe predate the Great Wall, but the
artifacts of Europe and Cydonia on Mars line up by longitude and lattitude.
Sometimes it is made of cheese.
