I would say yes, afterall, it is just 1's and 0's.
At first glance for example; the code written by Stromasys, combined
with the code written in VirtualBox could render a workable start.
There's a big can of worms in that statement!
No doubt lots of programming, a more realistic question might be
"Is it cost-effective, and legally visible?"
