Hello Folks @ 3000-l,
Re: SECURITY/3000: socket error message on N-Class / MPE/iX 7.0
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One of our customers did upgrade to a N4000 HP3000 server and now gets
the following message when logging in as any user. All users are under
the Security/3000 (VESOFT) "umbrella". Security is correctly
installed and licensed.
SYS:9:03/#S24/68/LOGON FOR: "RDMGX,MANAGER.AXREMIS,PUB" ON LDEV #4.
** NS/3000 INTERNAL ERROR IN RFA; Job: #S24; PIN: 59; Info: 70
- Error: 11; Could not receive on socket
- Socket error : 64; REMOTE ABORTED THE CONNECTION.
It seems to happen while executing the LOGONUDC when the program
XEQ MAIN.PUB.VESOFT "SECLOGON" is executed. Any idea why?

The answer is in the archives:
http://raven.utc.edu/cgi-bin/WA.EXE?A2=ind9906E&L=hp3000-l&P=R341
and
http://raven.utc.edu/cgi-bin/WA.EXE?A2=ind9902B&L=hp3000-l&P=R2167
If you have problems implementing this you might want to talk to the
VESOFT folks.
