Those not interested in VPlus need read no furher.
Please excuse the bandwith.
They are late, I know but here are the minutes,
somewhat rough, of the SIG UI/VPlus meeting at IPROF.
If you are going to HPWORLD and are interested,
come to the SIG UI/VPlus meeting on Wednesday at
8:00 AM in room C3. Rooms change, so check the
location when you get there.
SIG UIF-VPLUS

requested enhancements of the last 2 years are released or in beta test.
Intro. Go Round
Newface
Enhancements
Future of VPlus - Reason to continue using.
Information
New features and Functionality

DEL Tips
Enhancements:
Scrollable Pick Lists
16 Function Keys
Expand maximum. Fields in form to 128
Allow interactive renumber of fields
Default the terminal type to 700/9x
Support terminals with greater than 132 charters per
row

Major problems:
VPlus manual has not been updated for many years, all enhancements are
described only in various Communicators. There is a
universal need for updated manuals.
Batch Formspec commands are documented only in
Communicators.
Hi LI intrinsocs (currently in a separate
manual) consume less overhead
then calling the VPlus intrinsics, although HI LO is still CM, the VPlus intrinsics are in both M and NM.
