Where is the PCL manual when you need it?

I recall something called vertical and horizontal motion index, (VMI & HMI).
Right margin setting ESC &a#M { #: column number }
Left Margin setting ESC &a#L { #: column number }

What I would do sometimes is suspend the printer that you're printing
to, then when the spoolfile is in a ready state, I'd get a copy of it,
modify the PCL, and send it back to the printer until I get it working.
Then make the appropriate changes to my program.

Something else I used to do is enable display-functions on the printer,
I think it was Esc Y to turn on, and Esc Z to turn off. Turning
display-functions on the printer will make the printer actually print
the PCL that was sent to it. You may find that the PCL being sent to the
printer is not what you expected.

Mike.

Accountant runs a listing - left edge offsets ~15mm ? Also for him, another PCL controlled form offset the same amount in from the left edge - in portrait mode.
