I would not set jam recovery to false.... It's a great feature when
something does go wrong.
These are my global settings for all HP3000 printers.
global # setup file
(message_interval = 60 # Repeat msgs every >= 60 secs.
banner_tray = 1 # Upper tray has colored banner
# paper.
data_intray = 4 # Lower tray has regular white
# paper.
banner_trailer = FALSE # Only need a header page.
pjl_supported = TRUE # all printers PJL device.
jam_recovery = TRUE) # Reprints jammed pages by itself.
