I use TERM=hp2392a, but thought I'd take this chance to encourage people
to set & use two variables: COLUMNS and LINES

More and more of my own software is using these two variables to determine
the size of the screen.  (Why those two?  Ok...I admit it...they seem
to be a Unix "de facto standard".)
