I don't have an answer yet, but I do have this observation.

>  rename vms!"agefrom"done,vms!"ageto"done

You are missing the underscore (_) in agefrom
and ageto.  The CI will not be able to resolve
these variable names and should produce a warning.
Of course, warnings do not require a proceeding
:continue or HPAUTOCONT=true.
