Student mischief is way down on our list of worries :-)  What they 
inadvertantly bring onto their computers from their internet activities 
is a different story.

The "message alert" with a faked webpage was sent to thousands of 
utc.edu mailboxes, not sure why John Burke got a copy.  We get this 
stuff all the time, and inevitably, a few will give up their credentials 
as a result.  This is followed by big spam runs through our mailers with 
authenticated credentials.  Messy stuff.

On a related note (and a result of some spam runs this weekend) some of 
you may have received undeliverable messages trying to send to utc.edu.  
One of our three inbound gateways was rejecting mail and had to be 
rebooted yesterday to clear.

It's been an "interesting" weekend :-)  but not too far a stretch from 
par for the course.
