Iraqi civilian casualties directly attributable to Coalition military
action:
9058-10914 Dead (IBC);
20,000+  Injured and Maimed requiring hospitalization (IBC);
???Missing

--------

I'm not sure if any of these numbers are accurate but how do they compare
with Iraqi's killed under Saddam? Some figures that I found were:

Political Prisoners executed by Saddam in the year prior to the invasion: ~
1500
Killed in the 1988 Gas Attack: ~ 5000

If any of these numbers are accurate, it's a bit easier to understand why
the Iraqis, though glad to see Saddam go, aren't exactly happy with the US
as his replacement.
