What release are you on? This is supposed to work in MPE/iX 6.0.
Both ends need to be HP3000s (but I bet you already knew that).
Before 6.0, I think you have to copy the data to a normal file, ftp the file,
then copy it back into KSAM on the other end.
If you have ns/3000, dscopy should work to directly make the copy.
I don't know if tar in 5.5 would help with a KSAM or not, but it might work.
