yes -- but probably not in the way that you are thinking.  if you
treat your job streams as skeletons or shells -- with 'things' to
be filled in prior to streaming -- and you run always run your
skeleton jcls thru a pre-processor, then you're fine :-)

alot of job schedulers work in just this way.                 - d
