Have you tried fully qualifying the GET, as in "GET OSPLXD2C
OSPLXD2C;rec=...;disc=..."?

Thanx,
Jon

Fellow listers-

I'm trying to get a patch from the ITRC, but FTP tells me it is to big:

ftp> GET OSPLXD2C
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for OSPLXD2C (22833152 bytes).
End Of File encountered on target file during transfer. Target file not
saved. [...]46_30Aug200117:16:[log in to unmask]

I am stuck on the plane waiting for weather to clear at the destination. So I have a few minutes to respond before they close the cabin door and I have to put away my PocketPC.

Yes indeed, I was the chairman of the host committee for Montreal '83. The QE would definitly be too small, but I understand there are other newer and bigger venues.

As you well realize, the conference locations are planned and contracted for many years in advance. Locations are selected on availability, facilities, appeal and airport facilities among many criteria. I do not think Albuquerque, Wichita, or Raleigh would be in the running based on these criteria. Making the Bay Area a permanent home has been discussed before and is still discussed at board meeting.

You can and should make your thoughts on the subject known.

And thanks for the compliment.

Time to shut off the toy, plane is leaving.

Denys.
