One of my favourite joke is:
 
After many long moments of fiddling around fruitlessly with the projector and
sound system, the evening's orator looked up at the gathered audience from
around the university and asked meekly:
 
- Is there an electrical engineer in the room?
 
Wirt stood up beaming and replied in the loud, assured voice of someone who
knows that it is his turn to be the hero and save the day:
 
- Yes, I AM an electrical engineer!  How can I be of assistance?
 
The orator straightened up and bellowed back:
 
- Great, would you mind turning the lights out so we can begin?
