Where exactly is your problem?

Can you ping your FTP destination? If not, you may have at gateway or
router problem.

Can you ping your own IP address. If not, you have a local network
configuration problem.

Can you ping both locations, but are unable to successfully establish a
remote FTP session?

Answers to these would be a good place to start.

It is difficult to determine exactly where the problem is.

I can not ping the FTP destination from the 3000.  If I drop to DOS I
can ping the destination as well as FTP to the remote location.  Both
the 3000 and my PC are on the same network utilizing the same router.  I
have set up a neighboring gateway entry pointing to the router which
should get us to the remote location.  We have these types of
configurations for many other remote locations.  The difference is the
other remote locations are over a private network and the one in
question is over the internet.

I can ping my own IP address as well as many other remote and local
addresses.


The following is output from a script which attempts to FTP to the site
in question:
