We have a small Dell laser networked.....first one was recalled by Dell for
a problem; second one croaked with a jam of some sort after maybe 3 months,
Dell was screwed up on the serial no change due to recall, took a dozen
phone calls to their call centre in India to clear and get a replacement,
AND best of all, nobody does refills on their cartridges yet, so the genuine
ones cost a fortune (here in Oz anyway),

So beware....yes it works ok, except without a display panel you have to
connect a pc network to it to configure IP.

Subject: [HP3000-L] is anyone using a Dell 1700NST laser as a networked
spooled printer?

...and if so have you had to disable snmp support (snmp_enable=FALSE)?

Or has anyone used any other Dell printers as a network spooled printer?

Just asking in advance of a client's purchase.
Thanks for comments in advance....
