Use TCP/IP and Telnet.  That way you don't need to adapt to any PC lan servers
at
all.  And if your PC lan servers go down, it doesn't affect your HP3000
connectivity.  If you have Windows for W. you're already there if you're on
MPEix
5.x versions.
