And of course, there's the old DEBUG trick under MPE V that allowed a user
(logged into a PM account) to flip a bit in memory and give himself SM
capability...

While some may be cursing all things Microsoft for this vulnerability (and
if you are in to conspiracy theories, maybe some government agency made

Gates do this ;-) ), I have had people wonder that I can see MPE user and
account passwords, or that anyone using a shared user id can change the
password on it to the detriment of the other users. I find it more
productive to work with what is.
