what about:

CONTINUE
BUILD AS3;REC=-80,,F,ASCII;DISC=100
FILE AS3=AS3,OLD;ACC=APPEND
FCOPY FROM=AS1;TO=*AS3
FCOPY FROM=AS2;TO=*AS3

but probably I missed the merge ... (this cmd file will append one file to the
other.
But having the right FCOPY options in place such a cmd file will work as well.)

best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

Subject: Merging files

Ok, here's probably a simple question, but the tired brain can't come up
with an answer, so:
Within a command file, I need to merge two datafiles together into a third
file. Normally I would use FCOPY to merge the files but can't figure how to
do that in a command file. Thanks for any clever approaches.
